Mr Amar is an Industry acknowledged thought leader, strong on ethics and ability to bring transformational progress to work areas. His sought-after leadership approaches enable to make orbit shifting progress for the company’s positioning. Mr Amar has 25 years of versatile experience in National/Multi-National leading operations in fortune 500 as well as the most sustainable companies – Vestas, John Deere, TATA Consultancy Limited and Cummins. His area of expertise varies from Public Affairs, Policy Advocacy, Sustainability & ESG, Business Development & Marketing, Innovation & Business Strategy, Product Design, Value/Application Engineering, etc in Renewable Energy, Off-highway, Automotive, PowerGen and Business Consultancy Domain.

He has been instrumental in driving “Make In India”, “ESG”, “Net Zero” and “Skill Development” initiatives in his stints at various MNCs. At Michelin, he has been collaborating with Govt of India for making Indian mobility sector best-in-class and the safest and the most sustainable. He has been driving regulatory initiatives for ELT(End of Life Tyres), Smart Fleet Management, ESG, Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Net-Zero and Climate Change with Govt of India.

He was instrumental in making comeback for Vestas (A Danish Wind Turbine Manufacturer) in India through a series of interventions His major success include accomplishment of two “Make In India” Projects and Gujarat and Tamil Nadu; policy intervention for Auction Design, Policy intervention for onshore wind, wind-solar hybrid system, offshore, Green Hydrogen, etc. He has also been very active in skill development for wind sector. In Mar 2023, Amar being an ESG head, he received an award for Best ESG Practice Organization. In Nov 2022, Amar received an award for the best CSR project in healthcare category from IFCCI.In April 2022, Amar was awarded as India’s 50 most powerful and influencing wind industry Business leaders by Wind Insider. In Feb 2020, Amar received an award on behalf of Vestas for actively contributing into India’s Renewable energy target.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat – Gujarat; Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune – Maharashtra. He is a certified Value Engineering from Society of American Value Engineer. He completed “Leading with Finance” certification from Harvard Business School. He is the managing committee member of Automotive tyre Manufacturing Association (ATMA) and board member for CSR committee in Indo French Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is a Vice-Chairman for Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) India – Gujarat Division.
